Queen Lisa checked off Market Chic soon after the start. Meehan Ziggy and Market Chic collided approaching the first turn. Jay For Jack and Rival Wiggy collided on the first turn. Meehan Ziggy and Market Chic collided on the home turn. Queen Lisa checked off My Name's Lindy in the home straight. My Name's Lindy visibly eased in the home straight checking Rival Wiggy.
My Name's Lindy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have mild soreness in the left shoulder. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to handler, Mr. D. Boots regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), My Name's Lindy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Boots pleaded guilty to the charge, My Name's Lindy was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
