Steward's Report
Crumb Snags - Late scratching at 6.22pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer G. Campbell was fined $100.
Olivia Twist, Desert Shadow and On The Air collided soon after the start checking Desert Shadow and On The Air. Olivia Twist, Zoom In and Obsession Agogo collided on the first turn checking Zoom In and Obsession Agogo. Obsession Agogo turned his head outwards in the home straight colliding with Olivia Twist.
Obsession Agogo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 5. Obsession Agogo was found to have a right deltoid muscle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. J. Barbara regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Obsession Agogo was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Barbara pleaded guilty to the charge, Obsession Agogo was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
