A pre-race sample was taken from Aston Santana.
Dalisha Bale was slow to begin.
Kraken Jock, Jullisa Bale and Girls Got Rhythm collided on the first turn checking Kraken Jock and Jullisa Bale severely checking Girls Got Rhythm which fell as a result. Jullisa Bale and Got To Spark collided approaching the home turn checking Got To Spark. Kraken Jock checked off Karen's Delight on the home turn. Kraken Jock, Jullisa Bale and Got To Spark collided entering the home straight.
Girls Got Rhythm underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left and right thigh muscles, abrasions to the left hind leg and abrasions to the left hind toes. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
