Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

Yazid Bale underwent a post race veterinary examination and was re-examined following event 4. Yazid Bale was found to have an injured right shoulder muscle.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Handler Mr. D. Scott failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Nadia Bale for racing.  Mr. Scott was fined $100 pursuant to GAR 46(2).

Max Ruby and Wendy Maria collided approaching the first turn checking Max Ruby.  Ink Spot, Wendy Maria and Royal Burst collided on the first turn.  Bongino and Maxi Mal collided in the home straight. Max Ruby and Wendy Maria collided in the home straight.

Springvale Misty was checked off Awesome Asset soon after the start.  Kernel Panic and Born A Guru collided on the first turn.  Lil Gus galloped on Jimmy Goes Bang entering the home straight. Filorga Bale underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion on the left dew claw and a spike wound on the right metatarsal.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Smoor the trainer of Filorga Bale regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Filorga Bale was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Smoor pleaded guilty to the charge, Filorga Bale is suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Yondu and Kraken Storm collided soon after the start causing Kraken Storm to fall.  Aces And Eights and Elegant Malt collided on the home turn.
