A pre-race sample was taken from Gotcha Laz.
Numinous and Mystic Rose were quick to begin.
Tiggerlong Al checked off Gotcha Laz approaching the first turn. Tiggerlong Al checked off Gotcha Laz on the first turn causing Tiggerlong Al and Mystic Rose to fall in turn severely checking Black Shadow, all three greyhounds lost considerable ground as a result. Merriview Mach and Gotcha Laz collided approaching the home turn.
Mystic Rose underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right metacarpal. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Black Shadow underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
Tiggerlong Al underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right shoulder muscle injury and soreness to the right shin and right thigh. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
