A pre-race sample was taken from Late Night Kebab.
Stewards discussed the frequency of racing for Fairytale Ending with representative Mr. Jye Formosa and noted his comments.
Aquileia was slow to begin. Fairytale Ending, Shanlyn Rose and Late Night Kebab collided on the first turn. Kernel Panic checked off Red Hot Chance approaching the home turn. Kernel Panic and Shanlyn Rose raced wide in the home straight.
Fairytale Ending underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right shin soreness and a right flexor tendon injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
