Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Psycho Billy and Brilliant Jet were slow to begin.

Moodswing Tarny, Kasemi and King Of Calypso collided soon after the start severely checking Moodswing Tarny which lost ground as a result.  Moodswing Tarny shifted to the outside in the front straight checking King Of Calypso.  Moodswing Tarny and Brilliant Jet collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Brilliant Jet checked off Moodswing Tarny on the first turn and again on the second turn. Psycho Billy checked off King Of Calypso and Cayden Bale on the second turn.  Psycho Billy checked off Cayden Bale approaching the third turn.  Moodswing Tarny raced wide on the home turn.  Brilliant Jet lost ground in the home straight.

Brilliant Jet underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right and left wrists.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Midget Rocks and Italia Bella were slow to begin.

So Hazy, Broady Lights and Olive's Branch collided soon after the start severely checking So Hazy and Broady Lights.  Midget Rocks checked off Go Nera in turn checking Broady Lights in the front straight.  So Hazy and Broady Lights collided approaching the first turn.  So Hazy, Broady Lights and Midget Rocks collided on the first turn checking Broady Lights and Midget Rocks.  Olive's Branch and Go Nera collided on the first turn.  Italia Bella checked off Broady Lights approaching the second turn.  So Hazy checked off Go Nera on the second turn severely checking So Hazy, Go Nera, Midget Rocks and Italia Bella.  So Hazy checked off Midget Rocks approaching the third turn.  Go Nera and Italia Bella collided several times from approaching the third turn to the home turn.

Nova's Girl and Reverse Outright were slow to begin.

Trout and Son Of Indy collided soon after the start and again in the front straight.  Nova's Girl and Just Cruising collided approaching the first turn.  Trout checked off Lektra Dude approaching the first turn severely checking Trout, Reverse Outright, Son Of Indy and Spooky Visitor causing Son Of Indy and Spooky Visitor to fall.  Just Cruising checked off Reverse Outright on the second turn.  Nova's Girl checked off Trout on the second turn.  Reverse Outright and Nova's Girl collided in the back straight.  Reverse Outright checked off Nova's Girl approaching the third turn.

Son Of Indy underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Spooky Visitor underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left and right hips.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

General Collinda was quick to begin and crossed to the rail soon after the start.  McCooly's Lad jumped awkwardly at box rise and was slow to begin.

Speedy Jack - Late scratching at 10:52 am when trainer, Ms J. Hopper reported the greyhound to have an illness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Fully Roasted and Tiger's Twenty collided soon after the start.  Carry On Star crossed to the outside soon after the start.  Fully Roasted and Tiger's Twenty collided in the front straight.  Fully Roasted checked off Electrifying approaching the first turn checking Fully Roasted and Tiger's Twenty.  Aston Ulysses and Carry On Star collided on the first turn severely checking Aston Ulysses.  Fully Roasted checked off Tiger's Twenty on the second turn.  Electrifying checked off Aston Ulysses entering the back straight.

Carry On Star underwent a post-race veterinary examination after an incident in the catching pen and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury as well as a torn nail from the left foreleg paw.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Oscar The Scout was slow to begin.

Dynamic Ross crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Oscar The Scout and Scorching Ember.  Scorching Ember and Baby Pechey collided approaching the first turn.  Oscar The Scout, One Thrill and Freya The Slayer collided on the first turn checking One Thrill.  Scorching Ember and Baby Pechey collided on the second turn and again entering the back straight.  Scorching Ember, Dynamic Ross and Baby Pechey collided in the back straight checking Scorching Ember and Baby Pechey.  Oscar The Scout, Dynamic Ross, Scorching Ember and Baby Pechey collided approaching the third turn.  Oscar The Scout checked off Baby Pechey approaching the home turn checking Baby Pechey.  Baby Pechey checked off Dynamic Ross entering the home straight.

Delancy Bale checked off Run Robyn Run in the front straight.  Zambora Clown, Special Victim and Rollo Ragnar collided on the first turn checking Special Victim.  Double Supreme checked off Special Victim on the second turn.

Rhonda Lily was slow to begin.

Pirate Pete crossed to the inside soon after the start colliding with Steamy Jack, Lights Action, Mick's Multi and Stuart Lee Rose.  Rhonda Lily and Lights Action collided on the first turn; causing Lights Action to fall which took no further part in the remainder of the event.  Rhonda Lily checked off Steamy Jack on the second turn.

Lights Action underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left shoulder injury.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards issued a warning to Trainer - Mr Robin Moore pursuant to GAR 51(9) regarding his tardiness in boxing Chart Topper for this event.  

Financial Tarra was slow to begin.

Smooth Talker and Threadin' Mikado collided approaching the first turn.  Broadway Bullet and Lara Tara collided on the first turn.  Sharni's My Girl and Broadway Bullet collided on the third turn.  Financial Tarra checked off Threadin' Mikado approaching the fourth turn checking Financial Tarra.

Kissable and Cryer's Spring collided soon after the start.  Cryer's Spring, Kissable and Shaded Disguise collided in the front straight.  Shaded Disguise checked off Cryer's Spring on the first turn.  Fourth Dimention checked off Reggae Mikado approaching the third turn.  Shifting Sands checking off Cryer's Spring approaching the home turn.  Cryer's Spring and It's A Tiger collided in the home straight.
