Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Miss Sedaka - Late scratching at 5.49pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to Left Carpal Sprain (wrist). A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Old Sale Road were quick to begin.

One Jacob galloped on Old Sale Road soon after the start checking Old Sale Road.  Ando's Jasper, One Jacob and Our Flying Emma collided on the first turn.  One Jacob, Old Sale Road and Our Flying Emma collided on the home turn.

Meehan Marlow underwent a post-race veterinary examination following an incident in the catching pen and was found to have a left back muscle injury and an abrasion to the left hind achillies.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Maverick Bob and Desiree Dancer collided on the first turn checking Maverick Bob who brushed the running rail as a result.  Inter Phillip checked off Crimson Knight on the first turn.  Crimson Knight, Miss Demonica and Knuckles collided approaching the home turn.  

Maverick Bob underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right flexor tendon injury.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Romeo Lad and Dundee Jazz collided approaching the second turn causing Romeo Lad to race wide.  

A post-race sample was taken from Burn Time - the winner of the event.

Punk Lass Rocks and Lockwood Lad collided on the first turn.  Lockwood Lad and Pilbara collided on the second turn.  Dinkydi Asset and Pack Of Jokers collided in the back straight.  Dinkydi Asset and Pilbara collided on the home turn.  Any Luck lost considerable ground in the home straight.

Any Luck underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have cramped. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp).  Any Luck must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

Big Jo, Aston Antoine and Metro Boomin' collided soon after the start.  Helen's Teddy, Big Jo, Smokin' Cindy and High Plain collided approaching the first turn.  Addy's Evie and Smokin' Cindy collided on the first turn.  Big Jo checked off Brickman on the home turn.  

Sailing Shoes was quick to begin.

Rock Me Xanthe and Zipping Trent collided soon after the start.  Rock Me Xanthe checked off Zipping Trent approaching the first turn.  Zipping Trent, Dissociative, Zipping Benson and Lady Legertha collided on the first turn causing all four greyhounds to race wide.  Lady Lagertha checked off Zipping Benson on the third turn.  

Jar Man was slow to begin.
