Steward's Report
Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 &6, followed by 4 & 8. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.
All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore facemasks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Carry On Liam went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Arizona Gold was slow to begin.
Dr. Madison and Eagles Nest Egg collided in the front straight. Carry On Liam and Arizona Gold collided in the front straight. Uncle's Girl, Carry On Liam and Arizona Gold collided on the first turn checking Carry On Liam and Arizona Gold causing both greyhounds to race wide as a result. Captain Chappy checked off Dr. Madison on the second turn. Captain Chappy shifted out in the back straight and collided with Uncle's Girl. Uncle's Girl checked off Captain Chappy in the back straight. Eagles Nest Egg checked off Aston Rocket approaching the third turn and again on the third turn. Eagles Nest Egg and Aston Rocket collided approaching the home turn. Carry On Chappy and Aston Rocket collided on the home turn. Aston Rocket and Uncle's Girl collided approaching the winning post.
