Be So Good was quick to begin.
Quara's Zade and Orwell Bale collided soon after the start. Quara's Zade, Orwell Bale and All Show collided soon after the start. Aston Onyx crossed in soon after the start and collided with Be So Good on the first turn. Neymar Junior and Quara's Zade collided in the front straight. Full Moon Party, Neymar Junior and Quara's Zade collided on the first turn severely checking Neymar Junior and Quara's Zade. Full Moon Party visible eased on the second turn. All Show checked off Orwell Bale entering the back straight. Full Moon Party checked off Neymar Junior in the back straight. Quara's Zade checked off Full Moon Party in the back straight and lost ground.
Full Moon Party underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr Dale Chapman, regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the second turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Full Moon Party was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Chapman pleaded guilty to the charge, Full Moon Party must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Quara's Zade underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left chest muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
