Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Cardiff Bale.
Papa Panda checked off Kingy Lights at the 250m mark. Saharrah Blitz and Front Bar collided at the 250m mark. Front Bar, Papa Panda and Furnace Bale collided at the 200m mark and again approaching the 150m mark. Saharra Blitz and Kingy Lights collided approaching the 100m mark. Front Bar crossed in at the 50m mark checking Kingy Lights, Saharrah Blitz and Front Bar.
Stewards spoke to Mr Kurt Burger-Trudgett, the Handler of Furnace Bale in this event regarding the manner's of the greyhound behind the starting boxes. Mr Burger-Trudgett stated that upon removing the collar from Furnace Bale in preparation for boxing, the greyhound lept forward towards the outside of the starting boxes. Stewards noted Mr. Burger-Trudgett's explanation and took no further action.
