Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Going Viral and Little Winnie collided approaching the first turn. Little Winnie and Unreasonable collided approaching the first turn, checking Unreasonable which stumbled. Going Viral galloped on the heels of Little Winnie entering the home straight. Going Viral and Little Winnie collided several times in the home straight.

Little Winnie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right deltoid muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Gary Cowcher regarding the racing manners of Little Winnie in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Mr Cowcher, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.

Kirby's Delight and Jacobite Flower was slow to begin. All Genres, Dinkydi Lilly and Especially Eager collided approaching the home turn checking Dinkydi Lilly. All Genres, Especially Eager and Twilight Psycho collided on the first turn checking All Genres. All Genres, Dinkydi Lilly and Kirby's Delight collided approaching the home turn checking Dinkydi Lilly. All Genres, Dinkydi Lilly, Kirby's Delight and Jacobite Flower collided on the home turn severely checking Jacobite Flower. Twilight Psycho turned its head outwards and collided with Holding Hope on the home turn. Especially Eager turned its head outwards and collided with Twilight Psycho entering the home straight checking Twilight Psycho, Especially Eager and Holding Hope. Kirby's Delight and Especially Eager collided in the home straight. Twilight Psycho, Holding Hope and Kirby's Delight raced wide in the home straight. 

Twilight Psycho underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right deltoid muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Sean VanTaarling regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Twilight Psycho was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr VanTaarling pleaded guilty to the charge, Twilight Psycho was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Especially Eager underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left back muscle and a laceration on the left stopper. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Cameron Knott regarding the greyhounds racing manners on entering the home straight  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Especially Eager was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Knott pleaded guilty to the charge, Especially Eager was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to representative, Mr Michael Ryan regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Jose Blue was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Ryan pleaded guilty to the charge, Jose Blue was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Pure Promise was quick to begin. King Of Dads and Adesanya collided approaching the first turn and on the first turn checking King Of Dads. Idaho and Ishmy Neecy collided approaching the home turn checking Idaho. Adesanya and Ishmy Neecy collided on the home turn. Adesanya and King Of Dads collided entering the home straight.

Mr S.Daniliuk was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound She's Serious pursuant to GAR 33.

Solar Energy - Late scratching at 8:30am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr M.Marshall was fined $100.

She's Serious and Society Icon collided on the first turn checking Society Icon which collided with Sparkle Pony. Laser Blue and Quirky Phoebe collided on the first turn. Laser Blue galloped on Sparkle Pony entering the home straight. Ching Ching raced wide in the home straight. 

Sparkle Pony underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Urana Shelby was slow to begin. Send It Tucker and Kaique collided soon after the start checking Send It Tucker. Urana Shelby galloped on Kaique approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Especial Edit and Miss Immy collided approaching the home turn. Urana Shelby, Especial Edit and Got Me Smarty collided on the home turn. Got Me Smarty and Urana Shelby collided entering the home straight. Urana Shelby and Especial Edit collided in the home straight. Send It Tucker raced wide in the home straight. 

Jaimandy Carl was slow to begin. All Inn Mia and Ima Rebel collided approaching the first turn. Eddie Lee and Landslide collided approaching the first turn. Landslide, Eddie Lee, Ima Rebel, All Inn Mia and Lana's Image collided on the first turn, severely checking All Inn Mia and Ima Rebel and causing Landslide to fall.

Landslide underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a cervico-thoracic injury and a left deltoid muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
