Steward's Report
Smokin Cindy was due to trial subsequent to Race 3, however, Trainer - Mr Tony Tufo reported the greyhound was ill. As the speed star qualifying trials are run under race conditions, Smokin Cindy is stood down from racing for 10 days, and a veterinary certifcate of clearance is required before any future nomination will be accepted.
Think Big Harry underwent a thorough veterinary examination prior to the running of the event and was passed fit to race.
Redzin and Think Big Harry were slow to begin. Redzin crossed to the outside soon after the start and collided with Think Big Harry. Rhonda Lily and Weblec Storm collided soon after the start. Yeah Easy and Polarising collided on the first turn. Forcefully, Rhonda Lily and Pilbara collided on the first turn checking Rhonda Lily and Pilbara which raced wide as a result. Weblec Storm contacted the running rail on the first turn checking Redzin and Think Big Harry. Forcefully and Think Big Harry collided on the third turn checking Think Big Harry. Think Big Harry checked off Pilbara approaching the home turn.
