Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Call Me Stanley and Electric Zulu were slow to begin. Electric Zulu checked off Deed Of Shianne on the first turn. Call Me Stanley raced wide entering the home straight.

Stewards spoke to handler, Mr. S Van Taarling of Call Me Stanley regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the first turn. After viewing all available footage,hearing Mr Van Taarling's submissions and Stewards own observations, no further action was taken.

Proven Blazer was slow to begin. Sweet Rhythm checked off Burning Ella on the first turn. Proven Blazer and Burning Ella collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds. Proven Blazer galloped on the heels of Dr. Tobain in the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Just The Marjen and Lulu Osti collided on the first turn checking Just The Marjen, Lulu Osti and Longstaff. Twilight Psycho galloped on the heels of Dinkydi Pippa on the first turn checking Dinkydi Pippa, Twilight Psycho and Baccala. Longstaff lost ground on the home turn. Longstaff checked off Lulu Osti entering the home straight. Sonic Rainboom and Kobi Star collided in the home straight checking Kobi Star. Dinkydi Pippa and Twilight Psycho collided in the home straight.

Lulu Osti underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Kobi Star underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Longstaff underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Stewards spoke to Mr Darren Fisher, the trainer of Longstaff and acting under GAR 75 (1) Stewards ordered Mr Fisher to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Longstaff in the event which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Niele, the trainer of Lulu Osti and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight.

Market Lass was quick to begin. Crymelon Tess was slow to begin. Barunga Bullet, Create A Scene and Millenium Star collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Barunga Bullet and Create A Scene collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Create A Scene and Crymelon Tess collided on the home turn. Crymelon Tess raced wide entering the home straight. Barunga Bullet checked off Create A Scene in the home straight.

Crymelon Tess underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a dislocated left front toe. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Our Girl Bailee was quick to begin. Pandora's Blue and Spot On Mick were slow to begin. Pandora's Blue, Scar Queen and Follow The Que collided on the first turn. Spot On Mick checked off Follow The Que on the home turn.

Elegant Malt checked off Panel approaching the first turn. Magic Mamba and Rezzie's Shout collided on the first turn. Elegant Malt checked off Magic Mamba entering the home straight. Jetta's Shout and Devil's Cartel collided in the home straight.

Victory Chico checked off Sassy Keats on the first turn. Rezzie's Choice and Victory Chico collided approaching the home turn and again on gthe home turn.

Solar Charge – New declared weight of 38.5kg, last raced at 37.2kg.

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing for Sense with representative Mr. Jordan Formosa and noted his comments.

Sense underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the hips and left shoulder. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Jye Licious checked off Calico Bull on the first turn. All Inn June checked off Pandora's Hope entering the home straight.

Sate Of Mine, Aston Verve and Crazy Old Fool collided soon after the start. Darklight and Tough Like Atom collided entering the home straight. Awesome Asset and Tough Like Atom collided in the home straight.

State Of Mine underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind limb. No stand down period was imposed.

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing for Southern Edge with representative Mr. Jordan Formosa and noted his comments.

Mini Yaala was quick to begin. Coyote Ugly checked off Southern Edge on the first turn. Sapphire Ruby raced wide entering the home straight.

Handler Mr Grahame Connell lost control of Clovally Granite during the boxing process for a short time. The Stewards were entirely satisfied that the incident was insufficient in nature to abort the starting process and continued on. Mr. Connell was fined $100 under GAR 27 for failing to have sufficient and effective control of the greyhound whilst boxing.

Pranjip Comet, Lektra Swing and Broken Pieces collided on the first turn. Fairytale Ending and Glascoe Sally collided in the home straight. Clovally Mansumi and Pure Profit collided in the home straight.

Broken Pieces underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right fore paw. No stand down period was imposed.
