Press On was quick to begin.

Blackpool Cruz galloped on Hone Your Skills approaching the first turn checking Blackpool Cruz. Blackpool Cruz and Al's Son collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Press On - the winner of the event.

Camino Angel was quick to begin. Riverdale Peggy and Zurial Bale were slow to begin.

Patch Alice and Helmet Giblet collided soon after the start. Five Putt Cal and Nana Jill collided approaching the first turn. Patch Alice checked off Helmet Giblet on the first turn. Patch Alice and Zurial Bale collided on the home turn. Patch Alice visibly eased approaching the winning post. 

Patch Alice underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr R McCullagh the trainer of Patch Alice regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Patch Alice was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr McCullagh pleaded guilty to the charge, Patch Alice was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Geelong and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Nessa Giblet was quick to begin. Blazing Penny was very slow to begin (4L).

Blazing Penny jumped awkwardly at the start. Rattling Rosie, Fox Three, Leo Giblet and Rahela Bale collided soon after the start checking Fox Three and Rahela Bale. Fox Three and Rahela Bale collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Neesa Giblet and Rattling Rosie collided on the home turn. Neesa Giblet and Leo Giblet collided entering the home straight. Fox Three raced wide on the home turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Riverdale Ella - the winner of the event.

Phoebe's Angel, Why Not Luv, Urana Fernando and Uringa collided soon after the start. Phoebe's Angel checked off Why Not Luv approaching the first turn. Uringa galloped on the heels of Why Not Luv on the first turn. Chill Out Dusty and Urana Fernando collided entering the home straight.

Chill Out Dusty underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg nail injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Alvira and Blackpool Alfie were quick to begin. Riverdale Tommy and Loves The Surf were slow to begin.

A pre-race sample was taken from Riverdale Bonnie.

Blazing Beast, Riverdale Bonnie, Another Easy and Quick Income collided approaching the first turn. Aston Ruston checked off Speedy Spyro on the first turn checking Riverdale Bonnie, Another Easy and Quick Income. Another Easy and Quick Income collided on the home turn.

Halo Lad - New declared weight of 33.0kg, last raced at 31.7kg.

Rockstar Haynes was quick to begin. Saint Jett was slow to begin.

Chase The Magic and Rockstar Haynes collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Doughnut checked off Luxury Rocks on the first turn checking Saint Jett. Nova To Burn and Luxury Rocks raced wide on the home turn. Chase The Magic and Nova To Burn collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post. Halo Lad, Luxury Rocks and Saint Jett collided approaching the winning post.

Tinker Candy, Blue Gal and Mega Heist were quick to begin. Aston Elliot was slow to begin.

Winslet Bale and Blue Gal collided soon after the start. Tinker Cindy and Mega Heist collided approaching the first turn. Wild Aces Agogo and Blue Gal collided approaching the first turn checking Blue Gal. Tinker Cindy and Mega Heist collided approaching the home turn. Mega Heist galloped on Aston Elliot on the home turn. Aston Elliot shifted out and collided with Winslet Bale and Mega Heist entering the home straight checking Winslet Bale, Wild Aces Agogo and Mega Heist and severely checking Aston Elliot. Aston Elliot tailed off in the home straight. 

Aston Elliot  underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have paresis. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Acacia Dream and Witchie's Gas were quick to begin. Hot Diamond and Riverdale Tifany were slow to begin.

Hot Diamond and Truss collided soon after the start. Witchie's Gas and Habits To Burn collided soon after the start. Giaan's Girl checked off Witchie's Gas approaching the first turn causing Giaan's Girl to lose ground. Acacia Dream and Witchie's Gas collided on the first turn checking Witchie's Gas. Giaan's Girl and Hot Diamond collided approaching the home turn. Hot Diamond raced wide on the home turn.
