Steward's Report
All staff & participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of boxing, starting and catching greyhounds.
Bolt Hard – New declared weight of 32.1kg, last raced at 30.4kg.
Bolt Hard was slow to begin. Bolt Hard, Sheer Strength and She's The One collided soon after the start checking Bolt Hard. Call Me Lucy, Stella's Memory and Mystic Muse collided approaching the first turn. Call Me Lucy, Stella's Memory and Mystic Muse collided on the first turn checking Call Me Lucy, Kraken Count and She's The One and severely checking Stella's Memory. Call Me Lucy and Kraken Count collided on the home turn. Bolt Hard and Stella's Memory collided approaching the winning post.
Solar Charge underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have split webbing to the left hind paw and pannus in both eyes. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Mystic Muse - winner of the event.
