Steward's Report
Blaze Of Fire was quick to begin. Oddball Armo and Take A Daffodil were slow to begin.
Still In Love and Mepunga Hayles collided on the first turn. Miss Molly May, Blackpool Kaine and My Annabelle collided on the first turn, checking Mepunga Hayles and severely checking Blackpool Kaine and My Annabelle. Blackpool Kaine fell as a result. Oddball Armo galloped on the heels of Miss Molly May approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Still In Love checked off Miss Molly May in the home straight.
Blackpool Kaine underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right fore leg shoulder joint injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Blaze Of Fire - the winner of the event.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track on the first turn and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.
