Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Phoebe's Angel.
Hey Vain Elaine, Goldana Bale and Isotope were slow to begin. Piper's Unicorn and Hey Vain Elaine collided soon after the start. Isotope and Livia Bale collided soon after the start. Goldana Bale faltered soon after the start and was subsequently tailed off. Piper's Unicorn and Goofey Express collided approaching the first turn. Phoebe's Angel checked off Piper's Unicorn on the first turn severely checking Goofey Express which was tailed off as a result.
Goofey Express underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury and a right hind split webbing. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
Goldana Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to both back muscles. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track in the vicinity of the 390m boxes and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.
