All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of handling, boxing, starting and catching greyhounds.

Yalena Bale shifted in soon after the start checking Daph's Desi and Drako Bale. Pabbie Bale, Agnet Bale and Daph's Desi collided approaching the first turn checking Pabbie Bale and Agnet Bale. Agnet Bale, Drako Bale and Gypsy Andy collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Drako Bale checked off Gypsy Andy on the first turn. Pabbie Bale galloped on Gypsy Andy approaching the home turn severely checking Pabbie Bale and Gypsy Andy, in turn causing Drako Bale to fall as a result.

Drako Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind toe injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Heads Or Tails was slow to begin.

Blue Magic Opal checked off Why Not Gazza on the first turn and collided with Blackpool Storm. Utah Ghost raced wide approaching the home turn. Heads Or Tails raced wide in the home straight.

Polly's Yohanna and Disco Riot collided soon after the start. Nine To Seven, Polly's Yohanna, Disco Riot and Sweet Impala collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds. Graphic Design and Wallbanger collided on the second turn.

Sweet Impala underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Quintana Bale and Gypsy Zelda were slow to begin.

Irene's A Star shifted out soon after the start checking White Flower and Bahati Bale. Gypsy Bun checked off Irene's A Star approaching the first turn. Gypsy Bun checked off Gypsy Zelda on the first turn. Amelia Ella checked off Irene's A Star on the first turn. Gypsy Zelda checked off White Flower approaching the home turn. Quintana Bale checked off Irene's A Star in the home straight.

People Get Ready checked off Masked Avenger soon after the start. Shima Jake and People Get Ready collided on the first turn. Limiting, Shima Jake and People Get Ready collided approaching the home turn checking Limiting. 

Shima Jake underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right hind leg. No stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Blackpool Bolt.

Interrogate was slow to begin.

Tybolt Bale checked off Robin's Choice soon after the start. Blackpool Bolt checked off South Song on the first turn. Robin's Choice checked off Interrogate on the first turn. South Song checked off Interrogate on the first turn. Tybolt Bale raced wide in the home straight.

Shima Classic, Voltage Spike and West Song collided soon after the start checking Voltage Spike. Ieisha Bale, Shima Glow, Voltage Spike and West Song collided on the first turn checking Shima Glow and Voltage Spike.

Black Avenger checked off Handsome Jack approaching the first turn. Pirate Pete checked off Shima Punga on the first turn. Handsome Jack brushed the running rail on the first turn and lost ground. Magnis Bale galloped on Shima Punga on the first turn, checking Pirate Pete and Magnis Bale and severely checking Shima Punga. Black Avenger and Pirate Pete collided approaching the home turn. Shima Bolt and Handsome Jack collided repeatedly on the home turn and in the home straight. Magnis Bale raced wide in the home straight.

Shima Punga underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

A post-race sample was taken from Silver Lake - the winner of the event in a new track record time of 24.686.

Deep Dive, Xamira Bale and Moriah Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Deep Dive and Xamira Bale. Jullisa Bale, Daph's Ascend and Moriah Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Moriah Bale.

Daph's Ascend underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hind split webbing injury.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

The semaphore board initially displayed the numbers 7-4-8-6 before being corrected by the Judge to 7-8-6-4. The  All Clear was then semaphored.

Kaison Bale galloped on Instruction on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Kaison Bale and Instruction collided approaching the home turn.

Invictus Waive and Lala Phoenix collided on the first turn checking Invictus Waive. Invictus Waive and Daph's Zac collided on the home turn. Enicka Bale checked off Fairytale Wish in the home straight and collided  with Invictus Waive causing Enicka Bale to become unbalanced.
