All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Extremely stumbled at box rise and was very slow to begin (5 lengths).  Major Bandit went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Mazikeen Smith and Vardan Bale collided soon after the start.  Forever A Dream and Quincee Bale collided soon after the start.  Major Bandit checked off Mazikeen Smith approaching the first turn.  Major Bandit, Mazikeen Smith and Vardan Bale collided on the first turn causing Mazikeen Smith to brush the running rail.  Forever A Dream and Target Master collided on the first turn.  Extremely visibly eased approaching the second turn.  Major Bandit and Vardan Bale collided on the second turn.  Forever A Dream checked off Vardan Bale entering the back straight.  Target Master checked off Quincee Bale in the back straight.  Forever A Dream and Extremely collided on the third turn.  Forever A Dream checked off Extremely on the home turn.

Extremely was vetted following the event and was revetted following Race 3.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right back muscle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mr J. Borg regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the second turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Extremely was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Borg pleaded not guilty to the charge, Extremely was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mazikeen Smith was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right calf injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A carpark sample was unable to be obtained from Mazikeen Smith upon arrival at the course, therefore a post-race sample was taken.  Mazikeen was unplaced in this event.

A post-race sample was taken from Paddy Wants Pats, the winner of the event.

A sample was taken from Palesa Bale upon arrival at the course.

Harrison House was slow to begin.  Sherwood Bale and Aston Falcon collided soon after the start.  Dr. Macie and Dr. Lexie collided approaching the first turn checking Harrison House.  Harrison House and Dr. Macie collided on the first turn.  Dr. Lexie and Zipping Rafferty collided on the first turn.  Sherwood Bale checked off Dr. Macie approaching the second turn.  Harrison House, Dr. Lexie, Zikpping Rafferty, Dr. Macie and Sherwood Bale collided on the second turn checking Dr. Macie and Sherwood Bale causing Sherwood Bale to lose ground.  Palesa Bale and Aston Falcon collided on the third turn.  Aston Falcon veered out and marred Palesa Bale approaching the home turn, on the home turn and again entering the home straight.  Dr. Lexie turned its head outwards and eased on the home turn.

Aston Falcon was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  Stewards spoke to Representative, Mr D. Chapman regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.   Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1)  Aston Falcon was charged with marring.  Mr Chapman pleaded guilty to the charge, Aston Falcon was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Dr. Lexie was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right calf injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Representative, Ms. J. Gill regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Dr. Lexie was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Ms. Gill pleaded not guilty to the charge, Dr. Lexie was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted

Jay For Jack, Roxy Ouzo and Royal Deed were slow to begin.  Sweet Coconut crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Jay For Jack and Folk Slayer.  Jay For Jack checked off Roxy Ouzo approaching the first turn.  Roxy Ouzo and Royal Deed collided on the first turn.  Jay For Jack checked off Royal Deed on the first turn.  Sweet Coconut checked off Shanlyn Kim approaching the third turn checking Roxy Ouzo and causing Sweet Coconut to stumble and lose considerable ground as a result.  Folk Slayer and Jay For Jack collided approaching the home turn.  Folk Slayer checked off Royal Deed entering the home straight.

Sweet Coconut was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right calf injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Yeah Easy was slow to begin.  Carry On Liam and Stellar Rising collided approaching the first turn.  Carry On Liam, Stellar Rising and Weblec Storm collided on the first turn.  Carry On Liam and Weblec Storm collided approaching the second turn.  Weblec Storm checked off Carry On Liam approaching the third turn.  Arizona Gold, Carry On Liam and Weblec Storm collided approaching the winning post.

Perfect Flossy and Smokey Renn were slow to begin.  Harlequin Rose and Jedda Milne collided soon after the start.  Oamaru Bale and Crackerjack Phil collided approaching the first turn.  Perfect Flossy and Smokey Renn collided approaching the first turn.  Jedda Milne and Smokey Renn collided on the first turn.  Jedda Milne checked off Smokey Renn on the second turn.  Made Me Blind checked off Ultimate Avenger entering the back straight.  Jedda Milne lost ground in the back straight.

Mr. Fix It was slow to begin.  Daph's Zac and Christo Bale collided soon after the start.  Aston Cade and Daph's Ascend collided soon after the start.  Christo Bale and Daph's Zac collided soon after the start checking Daph's Ascend.  Daph's Ascend and Gypsy Bun collided on the first turn.  Aston Cade and Daph's Zac collided on the first turn, severely checking both greyhounds.  Aston Cade checked off Daph's Zac approaching the third turn.  Daph's Ascend checked off Gypsy Bun in the home straight.

Post-race samples were taken from Christo Bale, winner of the event and Gypsy Bun, placed 4th.

Canya Cruise and Instruction were slow to begin.  Lala Ivory and All Inn Billy collided soon after the start.  Mepunga Maggie, Bahati Bale, All Inn Billy and Lala Ivory collided soon after the start.  Lala Ivory checked off All Inn Billy approaching the first turn checking Mepunga Maggie and Bahati Bale.  Lala Ivory checked off Instruction in the home straight.

Tough Tears and Bounce Back were slow to begin.  Pilbara and I'm Easy Boys collided approaching the first turn.  Bounce Back and Zipping Ticket collided approaching the first turn causing Zipping Ticket to contact the running rail, in turn checking I'm Easy Boys.  Weblec Ace faltered in the front straight and commenced to lose ground, tailing off. Bounce Back checked off Tough Tears entering the home straight.  Zipping Ticket and Aratuza Bale collided in the home straight.

Weblec Ace was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left back muscle injury, a 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

Zipping Ticket was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left calf injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Post-race samples were taken from Not Happening, the winner of the event and Tough Tears, placed 2nd.

A sample was taken from Colden Dayton upon arrival at the course.

Colden Dayto and Negasi Bale collided approaching the first turn.  Winlock Thor, Colden Dayto and Negasi Bale collided on the first turn checking Negasi Bale.  Aston Sonic and Fire And Fury collided on the first turn.  Winlock Thor and Colden Dayto collided on the second turn checking Negasi Bale.  Colden Dayto and Negasi Bale collided on the third turn checking Colden Dayto.

Master Avenger and Summer Lights were slow to begin.  Tarlee and Namida collided soon after the start.  Zivon Bale crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Master Avenger, Namida and Tarlee, severely checking Gentleman Thief and Arlington.  Zivon Bale checked off Tarlee on the third turn.  Gentleman Thief checked off Namida approaching the home turn.

Trainer Mr C. Treherne was issued a warning under (GAR 86(o)) for negligence after the greyhound Don't Argue Love was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. The Club official was reminded of their responsibilities to ensure the greyhounds are correctly kennelled.

Aston Attack and All Inn Dungee were slow to begin.  Jay Bird crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Take A Sunflower, Kasemi and Don't Argue Love.  Kasemi and Jay Bird collided on the first turn.  Spun Out and Aston Attack collided on the first turn causing Neymar Junior to race wide.  Take A Sunflower raced wide on the second turn.  Don't Argue Love and Take A Sunflower collided entering the back straight.

Aston Kenno and Circumstance were slow to begin.  Aston Kenno crossed to the outside on the first turn, severely checking Aston Kenno, Circumstance, Dr. Danika and Beguile.  Harrell Bale and Leeroy Bomber collided in the home straight.

Dr. Danika was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right hind foot as well as a right calf injury, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Beguile was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a sprain to the right hock, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
