Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Iceni Riot.
Bad Bailey and Lenny's Jagger were quick to begin.
Short Tyson, Gettysburg and Sweet Swagger collided approaching the first turn, checking Gettysburg. King Brown, Lenny's Jagger and Bad Bailey collided on the first turn, checking Bad Bailey and Short Tyson , severely checking Lenny's Jagger. Lenny's Jagger and Gettysburg collided approaching the home turn, checking Lenny's Jagger and severely checking Gettysburg which fell as a result. Bad Bailey and Sweet Swagger collided approaching the home turn. Short Tyson raced wide in the home straight.
Gettysburg underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right ulna fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track in the vicinity of the home turn and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.
