Steward's Report
Keenando, Weblec Ace and Reiko Martini collided soon after the start. Reiko Martini, Weblec Ace, Keenando, Abelero Bale, Stellar Rising and Cosmic Sparkle collided soon after the start checking Abelero Bale, Keenando and Stellar Rising. Weblec Ace, Reiko Martini and Disco Riot collided on the first turn checking Disco Riot. Stellar Rising checked off Keenando entering the front straight checking Stellar Rising, Abelero Bale and Disco Riot. Abelero Bale and Disco Riot collided approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds. Reiko Martini faltered approaching the third turn and pulled up as a result. Keenando and Disco Riot collided entering the home straight.
Reiko Martini underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right tarsal fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Aratuza Bale - the winner of the event.
Stewards inspected the section of the track approaching the third turn and deemed it suitable for racing.
