Gentleman Thief, Smokey Renn, Wedding Or Baby and Aston Fastnet collided in the front straight checking Wedding Or Baby. Gentleman Thief, Smokey Renn and Aston Fastnet collided approaching the first turn checking Aston Fastnet. Wedding Or Baby, Instruction and Aston Fastnet collided on the first turn severely checking all three greyhounds. Gentleman Thief checked off Well Grounded entering the home straight.
Instruction underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Aston Fastnet underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right monkey muscle, right calf and right pencil/whip muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
