Steward's Report
A sample was taken from Braemar Wallace upon arrival at the course.
Blazin' Poppy and Pack Of Jokers were slow to begin.
Braemar Wallace, Lamotta and Spring Cobra collided soon after the start. Dr. Mumma turned its head outwards and shifted out soon after the start. Visualiser raced wide from the 150m mark to the winning post.
Mr William McMahon declined the option to have the greyhound vetted. Stewards spoke to Mr McMahon, the trainer of Dr. Mumma regarding the greyhound’s racing manners soon after the start. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A (1), Dr. Mumma was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr McMahon pleaded guilty to the charge, Dr. Mumma was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
