Brazen Delight veered inwards, turned its head inwards soon after the start and marred Aston Pride. Brazen Delight, Aston Pride and Sloane The Crow collided approaching the first turn; checking Aston Pride and Brazen Delight. Aston Pride and Brazen Delight collided on the first turn.
Brazen Delight underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr J Guy, the trainer of Brazen Delight regarding the greyhound’s racing manners soon after the start. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Brazen Delight was charged with marring. Mr Guy pleaded guilty to the charge, Brazen Delight was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Horsham and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
