Steward's Report
Just Admit It - Late scratching at 1.42pm when Ms. A. Gibbons reported the greyhound to have diarrhoea (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20 (3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Aston Rocket and Indy’s Happy were quick to begin. Dale From Sale was slow to begin. Hot Diesel, Aston Ruston and Indy’s Happy collided approaching the first turn. Indy’s Happy raced wide in the home straight. Hot Diesel and Aston Ruston collided approaching the winning post.
Hot Diesel underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Plumridge regarding the racing manners of Hot Diesel approaching the winning post. After hearing evidence from Mr. Plumridge, viewing all available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.
