Steward's Report
Aston Titan was quick to begin. Curfew was slow to begin.
Go Quantum went up with the lids at box rise. Flying Unicorn and Go Quantum collided approaching the first turn. Flying Unicorn, Go Quantum and Silver Compass collided on the first turn checking Flying Unicorn and Go Quantum causing Flying Unicorn, Go Quantum and Silver Compass to collide checking Go Quantum and Curfew severely checking Flying Unicorn. Houlio faltered approaching the home turn. Curfew checked off Silver Compass approaching the home turn.
Flying Unicorn underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right shoulder muscle and left triangle muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Houlio underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right tarsal fracture. A 60 day stand down period was imposed. The section of track approaching the home turn was inspected and deemed suitable for racing.
