Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Mahogany Flame, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.
Mahogany Flame and Max Anonymous were quick to begin.
On Gas Blazing and Dipped In Honey collided soon after the start checking On Gas Blazing. Pure Quality and Fernando Mick collided on the first turn. Dipped In Honey checked off Pure Quality on the first turn. Max Anonymous and Dipped In Honey collided on the first turn checking Max Anonymous and Mahogany Queen severely checking Dipped In Honey which fell as a result. Red Mahogany and Mahogany Flame collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. On Gas Blazing checked off Mahogany Flame entering the home straight.
Dipped In Honey underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg carpal fracture. Dipped In Honey was humanely euthanased.
