Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Spun Out.
Just In Time, Spun Out and Stretch Butler collided soon after the start. Resse's Girl and Forcefully collided soon after the start. Resse's Girl and Forcefully collided checking Resse's Girl and Stretch Butler on the first turn. Gypsy Cinnamon and Aston Bullet collided checking both greyhounds on the first turn. Aston Bullet commenced to lose ground approaching the home turn. Suvla Bay and Just In Time collided on the home turn.
Aston Bullet underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right hind. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr Tim Britton regarding its performance in the event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Aston Bullet must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
