Shadow Ace and Unathi Bale collided soon after the start. Lonely Jenny checked off Shadow Ace approaching the first turn. Blazing Bourbon checked off Crown Suzie on the first turn. Blazing Alabama checked off Lonely Jenny on the home turn.

Blazing Bourbon underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist sprain and abrasion to the left tibia. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Unathi Bale - the winner of the event.

Acacia Dream – Late scratching at 11.54 am when Mr. M. Lloyd reported the greyhound to have a laceration (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Crown Sally and Chilly Bin collided soon after the start. Makayla's Diva checked off Winter Wizard approaching the first turn. Chilly Bin and Makayla's Diva collided approaching the first turn checking Makayla's Diva. Winter Wizard and Chilly Bin collided on the first turn checking Winter Wizard. Winter Wizard and Chilly Bin collided on the home turn checking Chilly Bin. Blazing Arizona and Makayla's Diva collided entering the home straight. Winter Wizard and Chilly Bin collided in the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Crackerjack Noah and Just Admit It were slow to begin.

Sweet Suzie and Whizbang Alice collided soon after the start. Whispy Watson and Sweet Suzie collided approaching the first turn checking Whispy Watson. Sweet Suzie checked off Plausible Dream on the first turn checking Whizbang Alice, Aston Falcon, Whispy Watson and Just Admit It. Whispy Watson raced wide on the home turn checking Just Admit It.

Winlock Dyno was quick to begin.

Blue Yaala crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Franki Jay and Daph's Wally. Dinner Roll and Blue Yaala collided soon after the start checking Blue Yaala which stumbled as a result. Almapa Sunshine and Phoebe's Angel collided on the first turn checking Phoebe's Angel. Franki Jay galloped on the heels of Daph's Wally on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Blue Yaala contacted the running rail approaching the home turn and lost ground as a result. Phoebe's Angel checked off Dinner Roll on the home turn checking Daph's Wally.

Dinner Roll underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Blue Yaala underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have spike wounds to the left wrist and left hock.. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Daph's Farrah and Roxy Rum Pumper were quick to begin.

Dusty Lyn, Blue Raspberry and Cool Kat collided soon after the start checking Dusty Lyn and Blue Raspberry. Our Watto and Black Hawk Jet collided approaching the first turn checking Our Watto. Sizzlin' Sanchez checked off Ieisha Bale approaching the first turn. Sizzlin' Sanchez and Nitro Roxy collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Fire And Fury and Ieisha Bale collided on the first turn. Fire And Fury and Ieisha Bale collided checking Ieisha Bale causing Charlie Checker to check off Ieisha Bale on the home turn.

Just In Time, Spun Out and Stretch Butler collided soon after the start. Resse's Girl and Forcefully collided soon after the start. Resse's Girl and Forcefully collided checking Resse's Girl and Stretch Butler on the first turn. Gypsy Cinnamon and Aston Bullet collided checking both greyhounds on the first turn. Aston Bullet commenced to lose ground approaching the home turn. Suvla Bay and Just In Time collided on the home turn.

Aston Bullet underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right hind. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr Tim Britton regarding its performance in the event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Aston Bullet must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ice Star and Crackerjack Olly were quick to begin.

Riverdale Bonnie, Roxy Usuki and One Double Beat were slow to begin.

Crackerjack Olly crossed to the rails soon after the start checking Katie Cortis and Clever Trevor. Riverdale Bonnie, Katie Cortis and Roxy Usuki collided on the first turn checking Roxy Usuki, Astro Naughton and One Double Beat . Riverdale Bonne and Katie Cortis collided on the home turn.

Barooga Franky and La La Nebraska collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Cyclone Zara checked off Yellow And Black on the first turn checking Cyclone Zara. Cyclone Zara and Beach Master collided on the first turn checking Cyclone Zara. La La Nebraska crossed to the rail on the home turn checking Cyclone Zara and Barooga Franky.

Yellow And Black - During the stir up the greyhound slipped its collar momentarily before being recaptured. The greyhound was examined by the On Track Veterinarian and deemed suitable to race. Handler Mr T. Hampson was spoken to advisedly regarding the incident. 

A sample was taken from Aunt Finnie upon arrival at the course.

Magic Panther was slow to begin.

Tinker Calie and Naga Viper collided soon after the start. Naga Viper and Black Phoenix collided on the first turn.

Luxury Art was slow to begin.

Riverdale Tuohy, Raquea's Dream and Squawking Budgie collided approaching the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Alvira checked off Go Wheels on the home turn. Riverdale Tuohy and Alvira collided in the home straight.

Frothy's Jet  – Failing To Chase - Field of 4, Distance 400m, Weight 31.3 kg, Box 4, Placed 2nd, Time Run 22:863 -  Cleared All Tracks except Warnambool.

Viking Junior  – Failing To Chase - Field of 4, Distance 400m, Weight 33.3 kg, Box 8 Placed 4th, Time Run 24:855,  - Comment: Not Cleared (Visibly eased in the home straight). Vetted - no obvious injury was found.
