All persons attending the venue today carried face masks, observed social distance requirements, and maintained room density quotients for the race meeting.
Steamer Redeemer was quick to begin. Indy Ghost, Diesel Runner, Mustang Charlie and Zipping Loxley were slow to begin.
Diesel Runner and Indy Korie collided soon after the start. Indy Korie and Mustang Charlie collided soon after the start. Diesel Runner, Indy Korie and Mustang Charlie collided in the front straight. Indy Ghost and Diesel Runner collided approaching the first turn. Steamer Redeemer and Perfectly Poised collided on the first turn. Indy Ghost, Diesel Runner, Indy Korie and Zipping Loxley collided on the first turn severely checking Indy Ghost and Indy Korie. Diesel Runner and Indy Korie collided on the second turn causing Diesel Runner to contact the running rail severely checking Diesel Runner, Indy Korie and Indy Ghost; all greyhounds tailed off as a result. Steamer Redeemer checked off Hamillson in the back straight. Steamer Redeemer checked off Perfectly Poised approaching the third turn.
