Steamer Redeemer was quick to begin.  Indy Ghost, Diesel Runner, Mustang Charlie and Zipping Loxley were slow to begin.

Diesel Runner and Indy Korie collided soon after the start.  Indy Korie and Mustang Charlie collided soon after the start.  Diesel Runner, Indy Korie and Mustang Charlie collided in the front straight.  Indy Ghost and Diesel Runner collided approaching the first turn.  Steamer Redeemer and Perfectly Poised collided on the first turn.  Indy Ghost, Diesel Runner, Indy Korie and Zipping Loxley collided on the first turn severely checking Indy Ghost and Indy Korie.  Diesel Runner and Indy Korie collided on the second turn causing Diesel Runner to contact the running rail severely checking Diesel Runner, Indy Korie and Indy Ghost; all greyhounds tailed off as a result.  Steamer Redeemer checked off Hamillson in the back straight.  Steamer Redeemer checked off Perfectly Poised approaching the third turn.

Jannila and Rall's Girl were slow to begin.

Mr G Selkrig was reminded of his responsibilities under (GAR 86(o) for negligence after the greyhound, Andy Time was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. Kennel attendant was also reminded of their responsibilities and referred to club management.

Dr. Madison underwent a post-race veterinary examination due to an incident in the catching pen.  No apparent injury was reported.

Yeah Easy and Carry On Liam were slow to begin.

Happy Hannah and Carry On Liam collided soon after the start. Yeah Easy checked off Suntory Rose on the first turn.  Carry On Liam and Whatever I Say collided on the first turn checking Whatever I Say and Shall She Charm, Shall She Charm raced wide as a result.  Shall She Charm raced wide on the second turn.

Perfect Colour and Night To Burn collided soon after the start.  Desert Flame and Moraine Hayley collided on the first turn checking Moraine Hayley.  Night To Burn and You Ember collided on the second turn checking You Ember.  Night To Burn and Desert Flame collided in the home straight.
