Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Canya Hurricane.
Ringcraft was quick to begin. Riverdale Bear was slow to begin.
Colossal Fire checked off Riverdale Bear on the first turn. Ringcraft and Lana's Image collided on the first turn. Born A Guru and Canya Hurricane collided on the first turn checking Born A Guru. Born A Guru and Colossal Fire collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Lana's Image and Instinctual collided approaching the winning post.
Colossal Fire underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr. Robert Colpoys regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn. After hearing evidence from Mr. Colpoys, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.

Full Flight – Fail To Chase - Field of 4, Distance 390m, Weight 33.0 kg, Box 3, Placed 3rd, Time Run 22.89 - Comment: Cleared All Tracks except Gawler & Meadows.

Supplementary Report:
Stewards today concluded an inquiry into the circumstances pertaining to the greyhound Mizuki Rose being left on-course after the conclusion of the Horsham race meeting on Saturday, 10th of April. Stewards took evidence from Trainer Mr. W. Donlon with regards to this matter. After hearing submissions from Mr. Donlon, Stewards charged Mr. W. Donlon pursuant to GAR 86 (o) in that he was negligent in leaving Mizuki Rose on track after he had left the course. Mr. Donlon pleaded not guilty to the charge. Mr. Donlon was found guilty and fined $250.
Jump The Bar – In accordance with GAR 73, presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of kennelling as the greyhound was found to be injured at Cranbourne on 3rd March 2021. Jump The Bar was examined by the on-track veterinarian and found to be free from injury, Jump The Bar is now cleared to race. A sample was taken from the greyhound.
