Reggie's Exhibit and Amber's Whiskey were slow to begin.
Fairytale Nacho and Grand Warrior collided soon after the start checking Reggie's Exhibit, Fairytale Nacho and Grand Warrior. Amber's Whiskey, Yolanda and Miss Coby Moss collided approaching the 200m mark checking Miss Coby Moss and severely checking Amber's Whiskey. Amber's Whiskey underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind leg. Stewards spoke to Mr Calvin Russell regarding the racing manners of Amber's Whiskey. After hearing evidence from Mr Russell, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.
Stewards spoke to Mr.D.Dawson, the trainer of Assume Kealy as some noticeable betting fluctuations were noted by Stewards. The comments of Mr.Dawson were noted and a post race sample was taken for analysis.
