Black Power checked off Long Black Lass at the 200m mark causing Black Power to stumble and lose ground as a result.

Brent's Delight was slow to begin.

Simon Says and Aubameyang collided soon after the start. Aston Phoenix, Simon Says, Aubameyang and Don't Know Jake collided soon after the start. Aston Phoenix, Simon Says and Don't Know Jake collided at the 250m mark checking Simon Says and Don't Know Jake. Aston Phoenix and Dusty Knight collided at the 200m mark. Don't Know Jake checked off Simon Says at the 100m mark checking Brent's Delight. Aston Phoenix marred Dusty Knight at the 150m mark and again at the 50m mark severely checking Dusty Knight.

Aston Phoenix underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to representative, Mr D. Cortese regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at the 150m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Aston Phoenix was charged with marring. Mr Cortese pleaded guiltyto the charge, Aston Phoenix was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Duncan, All Inn Jasper, Mayhem Thrill and Kid Malawi were slow to begin.

All Inn Jasper and Tinker China collided soon after the start checking All Inn Jasper. Tinker China, Hate So Blind and Mayhem Thrill collided soon after the start checking Hate So Blind. All Inn Jasper and Hate So Blind collided at the 250m mark causing Hate So Blind to collide with Mayhem Thrill. Kid Malawi clipped the heels of Steamin' at the 250m mark. All Inn Jasper checked off Hate So Blind at the 150m mark.

Keep It Blue, Old Roy and Aston Santana were slow to begin.

Aston Santana and Louis The Legend collided soon after the start. Gunai Rebel and Call Me Bluey collided at the 250m mark. Louis The Legend checked off Gunai Rebel at the 150m mark. Gunai Rebel and Old Roy collided at the 100m mark checking Gunai Rebel. Keep It Blue crossed to the rail at the 100m mark. Gunai Rebel and Call Me Bluey collided approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds.

A post-race sample was taken from Ramornie - the winner of the event.

Heads Or Tails was quick to begin.

Melanistic checked off Kody Talks soon after the start. Trout and Better Dream collided several times from soon after the start to the 300m mark. Better Dream and Melanistic collided at the 250m mark. Electric Mick checked off Kody Talks at the 200m mark. All Inn Dungee checked off Melanistic at the 50m mark. Trout and Saint Wallace collided several times from the 50m mark to approaching the winning post.

Too Be Sure was slow to begin.

Superior Kiki crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Dakar. Harrell Bale, Lockwood Lad and All Inn Morgan collided soon after the start. All Inn Morgan and Bound To Succeed collided approaching the 300m mark. Dakar and Bound To Succeed collided several times from the 150m mark to the 100m mark checking All Inn Morgan. Dakar checked off Bound To Succeed at the 50m mark.

This event was all clear of any racing incidents.

Brave Joy was slow to begin.

Dimensional shifted out at the 250m mark and collided with Out Of Sprite checking Out Of Sprite, Gleeson, Bring Your Banjo and Suspense causing Dimensional to fall. Brave Joy contacted the rail at the 200m mark.

Dimensional underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left deltoid and the right hip. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Midnight Monarch - the winner of the event.

Frainy's Well and Leeky Lee were slow to begin.

Cool Customer checked off Cool Your Jets at the 300m mark. Frainy's Well checked off Cool Your Jets at the 200m mark. Cool Customer checked off Leeky Lee at the 200m mark. Cool Your Jets checked off Leeky Lee at the 150m mark. Leeky Lee and Aston Hadley collided at the 100m mark. Cool Your Jets checked off Cool Customer at the 100m mark.

Mighty Tracey crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Erupting Avatar. Unsolved Mystery galloped on Erupting Avatar at the 150m mark checking All Inn  Abby and Unsolved Mystery. Major Winston and Heidi collided approaching the winning post.

Superior Digby and Steve's Uggboot were slow to begin.

Superior Digby checked off All Of Us soon after the start. Shanghai Avatar and Tangelo Fire collided at the 150m mark. Steve's Uggboot and Make A Pat collided at the 150m mark. Superior Digby and So Say collided at the 100m mark checking All Of Us. All Of Us checked off So Say at the 50m mark. Steve's Uggboot and Make A Pat collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr J. Hamilton regarding the undue delay in boxing So Say in this event. Mr Hamilton was reminded of his responsibilities pursuant to GAR 51(9).

You Fugitive was slow to begin.

South East Queen, Mepunga Harry, Gee Dalton, You Fugitive and Banjo Glitter collided soon after the start checking Mepunga Harry, Gee Dalton and You Fugitive. South East Queen crossed to the outside at the 250m mark and collided with Banjo Glitter.
