Steward's Report
A sample was taken from Superior Digby upon arrival at the course.
A pre-race sample was taken from Suspense.
Stewards discussed the frequency of racing for Run Shifty Run with trainer, Mr Ryan Galea and noted their comments.
Mr Steven Spoljaric requested an early race endorsement for Sunshine Spolly. The Stewards approved the request after an examination prior to racing by the on-track veterinarian. Sunshine Spolly will compete in early races until further notice.
Sunshine Spolly was slow to begin.
Sunshine Spolly and Shady Talks collided soon after the start. Georgia Pines and Natural Cruiser collided approaching the 250m mark. Natural Cruiser and Superior Digby collided at the 250m mark.
Run Shifty Run underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right triangle muscle. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
