Steward's Report
Lawson Drive, Smooth Talker and Good Juan were slow to begin. Lawson Drive, Smooth Talker and Hold on collided soon after the start. Hold On and Good Juan collided on the first turn and again in the front straight, checking both greyhounds. Good Juan checked off Hold On approaching the third turn. Smooth Talker checked off Classy Ethics on the third turn checking Lawson Drive. Good Juan checked off Smooth Talker entering the back straight. Good Juan and Lawson Drive collided approaching the home turn. Hold On, Lawson Drive and Smooth Talker collided on the home turn checking Lawson Drive. Classy Ethics and Dark Arrow collided entering the home straight.
A post-race sample was taken from Classy Ethics- the winner of the event.
Stewards reviewed a racing incident on the home turn between Classy Ethics and Dark Arrow. After taking into account submissions from Mr. J. Ennis (representing Trainer - Ms. B. Ennis) and viewing all available video footage, in particular, the head-on vision, Stewards took no action in the matter.
