Steward's Report
Inky's Fireball, Lady Caviar and Caribbean Queen collided approaching the first turn. Lady Caviar, Burning Tracks, Sonic Rainboom and Treacle collided approaching the first turn checking Sonic Rainboom. Burning Tracks, Treacle and Ghost Ship collided on the first turn. Inky's Fireball, Lady Caviar and Eadie collided approaching the home turn checking Inky's Fireball and Lady Caviar. Burning Tracks clipped the heels of Inky's Fireball on the home turn checking Burning Tracks which brushed the running rail. Caribbean Queen and Eadie collided in the home straight. Lady caviar, Caribbean Queen, Treacle and Eadie collided approaching the winning post checking Caribbean Queen.
Burning Tracks underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left hind stopper area. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Mrs. P. Boots failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Treacle for racing. A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 46 (2).
A post-race sample was taken from Treacle - the winner of the event.
