The traditional 2-wave (odds then evens) boxing process has been re-instated for all races in Victoria from Tuesday 10 November 2020. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times. 

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore facemasks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Low Blow, Billy's The Boss and Lunar Halo were slow to begin.  Girls Got Rhythm crossed in soon after the start checking Aston Shiloh and Billy's The Boss.  Breakaway Benji was checked off Girls Got Rhythm on the first turn.  Billy's The Boss and Lunar Halo collided on the first turn. Low Blow and Invictus Louie collided entering the home straight.  Breakaway Benji raced wide in the home straight.  Girls Got Rhythm crossed in approaching the winning post checking Invictus Louie.

Jesse Riccarton was slow to begin.  Aston Shogun and Let Out collided soon after the start.  Let Out and Major Gilbert collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn.  Aston Shogun galloped on Jesse Riccarton on the first turn checking Jesse Riccarton and severely checking Aston Shogun which fell as a result.  Let Out and Major Gilbert collided approaching the home turn severely checking Let Out.

Aston Shogun underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left chest muscle.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Darnum Bolt, Kroos and Sneaky Mojo were slow to begin.  Fernando Bull, Darnum Bolt and Kroos collided on the first turn checking Darnum Bolt and Kroos.  Curnow Keats, Baz The Rocket and DestinI Trucker collided on the first turn checking Destini Trucker and Baz The Rocket.  Sneaky Mojo clipped the heels of Curnow Keats on the first turn.  Fernando Bull and Curnow Keats collided on the home turn.  Darnum Bolt and Kroos collided entering the home straight.  Fernando Bull was checked off Curnow Keats entering the home straight.  Fernando Bull and Sneaky Mojo collided in the home straight.  Sneaky Mojo raced wide in the home straight.

Due to a power outage following the running of race 3, this event was initially delayed by two races. After consultation with the Club Manager and Track Manager it was determined that the power company were unable to attend within a reasonable time frame to rectify the issue; As a result the remainder of the race meeting was officially abandoned at 8.20pm.
