Century Rocks, Rev Up Axel and Fab Nine were slow to begin.
Enid's Angel checked off Rockstar Manners on the first turn. Fab Nine galloped on the heels of Enid's Angel on the first turn; checking Fab Nine; severely checking Enid's Angel.
Enid's Angel underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound and lameness to the right hindleg. A seven day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Aston Current - the winner of the event.
