The traditional 2-wave (odds then evens) boxing process has been re-instated for all races in Victoria from Tuesday 10 November 2020. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times. 

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Stewards further inspected the track prior to the first race due to heavy rain during kenneling and deemed the surface suitable for racing.

Fabroni Bale crossed to the outside soon after the start checking off Crumb Snags. Security Man brushed the running rail approaching the first turn. Crumb Snags and That's Easy collided on the first turn. Security Man brushed the running rail again approaching the home turn. Quinto Bale and Well Built collided on the home turn checking Well Built, causing Well Built and Daph's Farrah to collide.

Security Man underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right deltoid muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Big Alfie was slow to begin.

Jax Star, Henryk Bale and Brother Bearing collided soon after the start. Jax Star crossed to the outside approaching the first turn, causing Big Alfie and Phaenon Bale to collide, checking Henryk Bale. Phaenon Bale and Henryk Bale collided approaching the home turn. Jax Star raced wide in the home straight.

Flame Child and Tan Star were quick to begin. Master Febey was very slow (5L) to begin.

Kihikihi Star underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right thigh injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Open Throttle underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have Exhaustion/Slow Recovery. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Razor Red, Rockstar Manners and Freddie Loco were quick to begin. War Widow and Armani Arby were slow to begin.

Rockstar Manners underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left ear. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Indigo Indy – Late scratching at 12.15 pm when Ms. S. Swan reported the greyhound to have a thigh injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Halwes and I'm Not Budging were quick to begin. Fully Roasted was slow to begin.

Dark Arrow checked off Halwes on the first turn. Fully Roasted checked off Grime Time Zeus on the first Turn. Halwes tired over the concluding stages.

Gamboa and Dodgy Digger collided approaching the home turn checking Dodgy Digger and Treasure's Lad. Treasure's Lad and Zambora Club collided approaching the home turn.

Stewards delayed the All Clear to view all available footage of the home straight after a bird flew in the vicinity of the approaching field. After viewing such footage, Stewards were of the opinion that no runner was materially affected and the All Clear was given on the Judge's numbers 4, 1, 2 & 3.
