Lethal Blue and Airbound collided on the first turn checking Lethal Blue and Zafonic Zjahdi. Lethal Blue and Zafonic Zjahdi collided on the first turn checking Lethal Blue. Rozehill Lucy and Turner And Hooch collided on the first turn; Rozehill Lucy fell as a result. Turner And Hooch checked off Zafonic Zjahdi approaching the second turn and contacted the running rail severely checking Zafonic Zjahadi. Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Melville, the trainer of Zafonic Zjahdi regarding the greyhound's performance in this event. It was noted that the greyhound did sustain interference throughout the event. Mr. Melville further advised that he believed the greyhound failed to run out the distance after suffering interference and didn't intend to start over this distance again. Stewards noted the explanation and took no further action.
