Summer Wages, Ko Ko Mikado, Magic Salmon and Play A Kazoo collided on the first turn severely checking Magic Salmon and causing Magic Salmon to stumble and race wide. Nicki Fields, Toy Princess and Addictive Love collided approaching the second turn. In Canada checked off Addictive Love on the third turn. Summer Wages and Play A Kazoo collided entering the home straight.

Magic Salmon was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Addictive Action and Molly Monroe were quick to begin. To Dee Black was slow to begin. Laurie's Chance and Our Ollie collided soon after the start.  Addictive Action checked off Molly Monroe approaching the first turn. Laurie's Chance and Our Ollie collided approaching the first turn checking Our Ollie. Ice Toronado, Laurie's Chance and High Market collided on the first turn checking Ice Toronado and Our Ollie. Ice Toronado checked off Laurie's Chance approaching the second turn. To Dee Black checked off Ice Toronado approaching the third turn. Our Ollie galloped on the heels of To Dee Black on the third turn checking both greyhounds. Addictive Action and High Market collided approaching the home turn.

To Dee Black was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left and right monkey muscles, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Blinder was quick to begin. Lady Toy was slow to begin. Jadie Bear and Kanga Colour collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Jadie Bear and Tulare Dust collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Kanga Colour checked off Proven Latte approaching the second turn causing Kanga Colour to race wide checking Addictive Alpha. Kanga Colour and Addictive Alpha collided on the second turn. Jadie Bear and Lady Toy collided entering the back straight checking Kanga Colour, Tulare Dust and Lady Toy. Lady Toy and Proven Latte collided approaching the third turn. Kanga Colour checked off Addictive Alpha on the third turn. Jadie Bear and Tulare Dust collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight.

Kanga Colour was vetted and after being revetted following event 5, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triceps, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Jim Reynolds, the trainer of Kanga Colour following the event. After considering the interference the greyhound suffered during the event, the greyhound's relative inexperience and the injury sustained, Stewards issued a warning against Kanga Colour regarding its performance in this event.

Cheezle Lips was slow to begin. Winston Groom, Fleeting Glory and Lara's Gem collided soon after the start checking Fleeting Glory. Counsel and Xtreme Knocka collided approaching the first turn. Shanty Town Lad, Counsel, Xtreme Knocka and Miss Ainsleigh collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds. Counsel, Xtreme Knocka and Miss Ainsleigh collided approaching the second turn. Lara's Gem checked off Shanty Town Lad on the second turn checking Xtreme Knocka and Miss Ainsleigh. Lara's Gem and Counsel collided entering the back straight checking Lara's Gem. Rapiddore and Lizzy Birdsworth collided several times approaching the first turn and on the first turn checking Rapiddore, Sisco Good and Lizzy Birdsworth and causing Rapiddore to stumble. Delta Bolt, Why Not Heather, Untraceable and Elegant Elle collided on the first turn checking Untraceable and Elegant Elle, severely checking Why Not Heather and causing Untraceable and Elegant Elle to race wide. Berry Blitz and Cairnlea Peter collided approaching the second turn.

Cette For Galory and Tommie Hunt collided approaching the first turn.
