Veneno, Golden Hippy and Thoughtful Wish were slow to begin.  Golden Hippy and Vivo Bale collided soon after the start.  Veneno checked off Golden Hippy on the first turn.  Abbey's Hand, Morningside, Vivo Bale and Fachoong collided on the first turn checking Vivo Bale and Fachoong.  Morningside and Vivo Bale collided in the front straight.  Thoughtful Wish checked off Fachoong in the front straight.  Vivo Bale checked off Morningside on the second turn checking Thoughtful Wish and severely checking Fachoong which stumbled as a result.  Veneno checked off Golden Hippy on the third turn.  Veneno and Golden Hippy collided in the home straight.

Veneno was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to it's right shoulder, right triangle and right calf.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. D. Fisher, the trainer of the greyhound Veneno regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. 

Dyna Fancy and Echelonic Action were slow to begin.  Dyna Fancy, Cosmic Rush, Missile Flash and Penn Bale collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Cosmic Rush.  Soul Eater and Fury Bale collided on the first turn checking Dyna Fancy, Cosmic Rush and Penn Bale; Dyna Fancy raced wide as a result.  Fury Bale and Dyna Fancy collided in the back straight.  Cosmic Rush and Penn Bale collided on the third turn.  Bit Berger and Missile Flash collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.

Proven Earner went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Black Vegas and Sisco Flyer were slow to begin.  Mermaid Princess and Question Bale collided soon after the start.  Hexen Bale and Mermaid Princess collided approaching the first turn.  Black Vegas checked off Sisco Flyer on the first turn.  Fourier Bale and Midnight Rumour collided approaching the second turn.  Proven Earner and Sisco Flyer collided on the second turn.  Midnight Rumour checked off Fourier Bale entering the back straight.  Fourier Bale and Sisco Flyer collided approaching the home turn.

White Spyro was quick to begin.  Amadeus Strikes was slow to begin.  Skinny Vinnie and Allen Orville collided on the first turn.  Proven Trendy and Amadeus Strikes collided on the first turn.  Cette Away, Proven Trendy and Amadeus Strikes collided on the first turn.  Proven Trendy and Amadeus Strikes collided approaching the second turn.  Allen Orville checked off Take Charge approaching the third turn.  Proven Trendy, Allen Orville and Amadeus Strikes collided on the third turn.  Cette Away checked off Take Charge on the home turn checking Allen Orville.

Shadow Lane and Tiggerlong Chief were slow to begin.  Shadow Lane checked off Premier Event soon after the start.  Brent Bale and Owen Bale collided soon after the start.  Owen Bale and Gemstar collided on the first turn.  Shadow Lane and Tiggerlong Chief collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn.  Tyronimo and Yoda Bale collided on the second turn.  Owen Bale and Shadow Lane collided on the third turn.  Gemstar and Shadow Lane collided in the home straight.

Swans Twelve and Jack Silver were slow to begin.  Ozzie Bullet and Cairnlea Ellie collided soon after the start.  Cosmic Wise, Cairnlea Ellie, Dyna Yenite and Pippa Shiraz collided on the first turn checking Swans Twelve, Ozzie Bullet, Dyna Yenite, Omar Gee, Pippa Shiraz and Jack Silver.  Ozzie Bullet and Pippa Shiraz collided approaching the second turn checking Omar Gee and Pippa Shiraz.  Cairnlea Ellie contacted the running rail approaching the second turn checking Swans Twelve and Ozzie Bullet and severely checking Cairnlea Ellie.  Pippa Shiraz checked off Cairnlea Ellie entering the back straight.  Ozzie Bullet and Omar Gee collided entering the back straight.  Cairnlea Ellie and Pippa Shiraz collided on the third turn checking Cairnlea Ellie.  Omar Gee checked off Ozzie Bullet approaching the home turn.  Cairnlea Ellie and Dyna Yenite collided on the home turn.

Cruiser's Sol was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's right calf.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
