A pre-race sample was taken from Fishbone Express.
Black Phoenix was quick to begin. Crackerjack Joey was slow to begin.
Fishbone Express went up with lids at box rise and fell. Zipping Burns and Merlot collided in the home straight.
Fishbone Express underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards delayed the All Clear to view all available footage of the start after Fishbone Express fell at box rise. After reviewing the footage and acting on their own observations, Stewards determined Fishbone Express was not denied a fair start and the All Clear was given on the judge's numbers 8, 7, 3 and 5.
