Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Kissing Keefar.
Mastermind Kid was quick to begin. Aston Stock was slow to begin.
Invictus Caleb galloped on Spring Value approaching the first turn, checking Spring Value. Kissing Keefar and Jackson Abby collided on the first turn, checking Jackson Abby. Aston Stock checked off Jackson Abby on the first turn. Saint Tess and Invictus Caleb collided entering the home straight. Kissing Keefar and Invictus Caleb collided entering the home straight; checking both greyhounds. Saint Tess ad Kissing Keefar collided in the home straight.
Kissing Keefar underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the left hindleg paw. A five day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Ms K Watson regarding the racing manners of Kissing Keefar in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Ms Watson, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the in the home straight.
