Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID–19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4–wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore facemasks/covers that in–turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race–day functions and operations.

Moody Girl, Arriba Arriba, Howdy Slim and Kaiden collided soon after the start checking Howdy Slim, Eau De Vie and Arriba Arriba.  Dewana Smokey and Dewana Lynee collided approaching the first turn.  Dewana Smokey, Kaiden and Moody Girl collided on the first turn checking Kaiden, Moody Girl and Galloping Run.  Howdy Slim and Kaiden collided approaching the home turn checking Kaiden.  Dewana Lynee and Arriba Arriba collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Kaiden brushed the running rail on the home turn.  Dewana Lynee contacted the running rail on the home turn.  Howdy Slim and Eau De Vie collided in the home straight.  Dewana Lynee raced wide in the home straight.

Dewana Lynee underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left thigh injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Bean's Multi and Princess Barcia collided soon after the start.  Bean’s Multi crossed out on the first turn checking Bean's Multi, Little Yaala, severely checking Dominus and Yazid Bale.  Dominus and Yazid Bale collided on the home turn checking Yazid Bale.  

Antique Ali was quick to begin.

Andy Time, Cooped Up and Half A Double collided approaching the first turn checking Cooped Up and Half A Double.  Andy Time and Half A Double collided on the first turn. Half A Double lost ground in the home straight.  

Half A Double underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left calf injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Superior Kiki and Big Bella collided soon after the start checking Big Bella.  Big Bella raced wide on the home turn.  Shanghai Avatar crossed to the rail entering the home straight checking Knuckles.  Over Talking and Kimani collided in the home straight.  Over Taking raced wide in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Captain Chappy.

Rebel May Road and He Shall Enchant were quick to begin.

Ricolina Lass and Meat Murphy collided approaching the first turn.  Illustration and Reiko Bear collided on the first turn.  Captain Chappy raced wide on the first turn.  Illustration checked off Rebel May Road on the third turn checking Reiko Bear and Ricolina Lass.  Reiko Bear and Captain Chappy collided approaching the home turn.

Swift Intention and Accused collided soon after the start checking Accused.  Swift Intention checked off Max Tractor approaching the first turn.  Through The Dark, Zambora Clown and My Oh Fernando collided entering the back straight.  Swift Intention and Max Tractor collided approaching the home turn.  Zambora Clown and Luther collided in the home straight checking Luther.

Star Ballerina underwent a post-race veterinay examination and was found to have a right triangle injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Teddy Too and Lewis Osti collided soon after the start.  Agent Ben, Sticker Stinger and Jacky's Eden collided approaching the first turn.  Jacky's Eden galloped on Agent Ben on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds

Heidi was quick to begin.

Baggy's Gold, Eastern Faith and Zulu Eyes collided on the first turn severely checking Zulu Eyes.

Little Rage was quick to begin.

Princess America, Meehan Marlow and Zambora Bear collided approaching the first turn.  Major Minter crossed out approaching the first turn.  Princess America and Meehan Marlow collided on the home turn.

The Stewards spoke with Ms J Imlach, the trainer of Ebonique in relation to the bona fides of the withdrawal from this race. Ms Imlach made several submissions relating to the circumstances of the withdrawal. Stewards noted these submissions and took no further action.

Piparae – Late scratching at 10.18pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due swelling and bruising to the left hock.   A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
