Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from East Street.
Clean Slate, Thirty Red and Arlington were slow to begin. Liverpool Flyer, Thirty Red and All Show collided soon after the start checking All Show. Thirty Red checked off East Street approaching the first turn checking All Show and severely checking Arlington which stumbled and lost ground. Clean Slate, Liverpool Flyer and East Street collided on the first turn checking Thirty Red and severely checking Liverpool Flyer and East Street. Arlington and Liverpool Flyer collided entering the back straight checking both greyhounds. Thirty Red and East Street collided on the third turn. Aston Champagne checked off Zambora Bear approaching the home turn. Thirty Red and Liverpool Flyer collided in the home straight.
Thirty Red underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on the right fore toes. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
