Neo Bale was quick to begin. Earn The Magic and Goldrush Rose collided soon after the start checking Goldrush Rose. Zipping Lach and Duke Of Airly collided approaching the first turn checking Duke Of Airly.
Following the event Earn The Magic displayed signs of Post Exercise Distress Syndrome (PEDS). As a result, the greyhound underwent a veterinary examination and was found to be displaying clinical signs of Ataxia/Hypermetria. A 3 day stand down penalty was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Ms. L. Smith, the trainer of Earn The Magic and advised her that the greyhound would be closely monitored in future events.
