Comrade and Lil Snooze were slow to begin.
All Show checked off the heels of Lil Snooze on the first turn and collided with Aston Gripen. All Show and Aston Gripen collided approaching the home turn, causing Aston Gripen to race wide. Super Big and Comrade collided on the home turn. Eaglehawk Miss and Comrade collided in the home straight.
